Wells accounts for 5 TDs, leads Jacksonville past Davidson

Rylan Wells accounted for five touchdowns as Jacksonville won its fourth straight, holding off Davidson 35-21 on Saturday.

Wells, who threw for 249 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 99 yards and three scores, scampered in from the 45 in the first quarter. He hit Michon Sobers on a 19-yard scoring strike and ran in from the 1 and from the 38 for two more scores to put the Dolphins ahead 28-0 at the break.
